A Genuine Natural Recipe For Chronic Nerve Pain
UpdatedINGREDIENTS:
100% therapeutic grade Oregano Essential Oil
100% therapeutic grade Lavender Essential Oil
Carrier oil for dilution purposes: Olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mix 10 drops of Oregano oil with 20 drops carrier oil (in a small bottle cap or container
2. Have 10 drops Lavender oil on standby
3. Generously apply Oregano and carrier oil to painful areas. The carrier oil will help mask Oregano's burning sensation (on sensitive skin) - Let these oils absorb into your skin for about 10-15 minutes
4. Apply 10 drops of Lavender oil overtop of the same areas that have Oregano on them
NOTE: Due to skin irritation, do not touch your face with your hands after using these oils. Irrigate your hands under cold water w/ soap first and then you should be good to go.
*Depending on the quality of your oils, this is stronger than taking high grade Vicodin and minus the side effects :)
*Pain relief lasts a number of hours and is great for evening or bedtime use.
*Pros: you don't need to take a pill - side effect free if applied properly - both oils have a host of health benefits outside of just providing pain relief
*Cons: your health insurance doesn't pay for natural alternatives
- I used this method on a friend who has suffered from degenerative disc disease. She was on Vicodin (7.5/325) as well as Lyrica. Both of those medications have become ineffective over the coarse of 3 months (due to tolerance levels); none-the-less, she claims that this natural concoction of herbs was just as, if not more effective at handling the pain, and didn't bring about any side effects.
I would suggest applying these oils 3 times daily or as needed for maximum relief. Oregano oil can also be taken internally, but should be diluted first.
I hope this helps those who need it most :) Please share any thoughts, suggestions, or testimonies you might have on this.

Thank you for such a useful post!
The only caution I would like to add is that even natural remedies such as this can cause side effects. Many natural oils and herbal remedies are very potent and can be just as dangerous as prescription medications.
so, for anyone that chooses to try this, please follow instructions carefully and be cautious, until you see how they affect you. If you do experience skin irritation or any unusual symptoms, stop using it and seek medical attention.
