This is not really a pain medication in the traditional sense. This is Gabapentin 600mgs, a generic for Neurontin. This drug is intended to help prevent Epilepsy seizures, however, it has also been shown to treat certain types of nerve pain. But only certain kinds and it does not work for everyone, it also will not treat other kinds of pain, such as that sustained from a broken bone, cuts and etc.
