90 Mg Pseudoephedrine Hcl
UpdatedMy wife gave my 11 y.o. son a Mucinex DM tablet withj 60 mg pseudoephedrine HCL. I was not aware of this and gave him 2 tsp of Children's Sudafed, which has an additional 30 mg. Should we be worried about the total of 90 mg's?

Is he okay? Did he show any signs of ill effects?
That is a high dosage for a child his age, the usual dosage for children 6 to 11 is just 30mgs every 6 hours, to a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
