875 Mg Amoxicillin Efficacy

Took it for 1 week. 1 tab every 12 hours. I've taken them all. How will I know if the infection is gone? Dentist cleaned some out after an extraction.

Are you experiencing any pain, swelling or foul breath odor?

If not, then the antibiotic has most likely worked, since those are all potential symptoms of an infection as detailed by the NIH.

However, only your dentist can say for sure by doing an exam.

Was this your first extraction? Are you on any other medications?
