Hi. Im a any day starter, instead of taking the white pill on first day I took dark blue and then began the white pills. 6days later, I was supposed to take the 6th white pill and realized I messed up.... iv had intercourse with no protection 2 times, what do I do as far as my pills and is there a chance of pregnancy?

Hello, Brittany! How are you?

No, you were supposed to take the blues ones, not start with the white. The white pills are inactive and are meant to be taken at the end of the month to allow your next period to occur. For protection against pregnancy to start, you needed to start with the blue pills that contain active hormones, that's why there are 21 of them in the pack and only a week of the white ones.

So yes, you do have a risk of pregnancy. Before you can proceed from here, you'll need to have yourself checked for pregnancy.

Is there anything else I can help with?
