Whoever is saying Klonopin metabolites are detectable in urine for 6 weeks is being quite dishonest or is just plain ignorant. You would have to be a chronic user and obese for that to be even close to possible as Klonipin is fat soluble and could linger in obese patients as fat is metabolized for energy. A recreational user who takes this drug occasionally in a 1-2 mg dose is going to experience total clearance in approximately 72 hours. Whoever is saying it lasts longer in serum is even further ignorant as it must clear the serum before its excreted in the urine. So open an anatomy and physiology book kind sir before you embarrass yourself further.

Klonopin (clonazepam) has a half-life of 18-50 hours. Half-life is the time it takes for the body to elminate 1/2 of the amount of drug in the system. So, lets take an average and say that Klonopin's half-life for most people is 30 hours. This means that half the dose is gone in 30 hours, leaving half a dose. Takes another 30 hours to get rid of half of the remaining dose, leaving a quarter of a dose. Add another 30 hours to get rid of half of that - leaves 1/8 of a dose. We're already up to 90 hours post-dosing and 1/8 of a dose of Klonopin would certainly be detectable at that point.
