If they've both been prescribed for you by doctors who are aware that you're taking both medications.
Otherwise, combining them isn't safe, especially if your body is not tolerant to such medications. Both of them can cause sedation and depression of the central nervous system, so you may inadvertently overdose. These effects can cause symptoms such as extreme drowsiness, dizziness and shallow breathing, which has the potential to be fatal.
These medications also carry the risk of being habit forming.
