Hello, Tony! How are you?
Tablets do tend to lose effectiveness over time, even under optimum storage conditions in the original factory sealed container, the longest that any remain fully effective is for 4 to 5 years. Thus, it would be best to dispose of these and see your doctor, it you still need this mediation.
The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Is there anything else I can help with?
