I went to the dentist Nov 30 for pain in my back molars. She found I have a gum infection from my gum growing over my teeth. I had my wisdom teeth out 3 years ago and I guess that's how they healed and food gets stuck in the gums. I've been taking the Amoxicillin 3 times a day and the antibacterial mouthwash that was also prescribed. My gum pain almost seems worse today December 3. I feel like it's not working. I have an appointment in 4 days to go back, should I wait or call tomorrow?

Hello, Savanah! How are you? Is there still food stuck in your gums?
The FDA lists the typical side effects of Amoxicillin as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
