5 Mg Hydrocodone With A Butran Patch
UpdatedCan you take Hydrocodone 500 mg / 5 mg with a butran patch?

Hello, Cyrstal! How are you?
The 500/5mg are no longer available, the Acetaminophen in all such combination medications has been reduced to no more than 325mgs per dose.
That said, yes, if your doctor has approved it, you can take both. Medications like these are often combined to help someone gain better control of their pain.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
