Can I get hooked on these if i take 20 mgs per day for two months?

To answer your question, yes, it is possible to get hooked that quickly, as Morphine is recognized as having a high potential for addiction. Tolerance and psychological dependence can develop rapidly, although physiological dependence may take several months to develop.

Whether you have addictive behavior or not, I truly believe that your mind can overcome any addiction if you stay on top of how you feel and how it's affecting you while you're taking it on such a consistent basis.

One way to do this is to keep a log or journal every week reporting any undesirable side effects, feelings, emotions (if you become more emotional) and what-have-you. Taking note of any changes in yourself really help put things into perspective. This along with remaining open minded to the opinions of family and friends around you should be enough to keep you at bay and prevent an overwhelming sense of not being in control.
