5 Mg 325 Oxy

I just went through surgery. Prior to surgery I was given a generic of Percocet - IP203 , after I received plain pill, no letters but 512 on one side,
what is the difference, if any please as I am concerned.

Both "IP 203" and "512" contain the same two active ingredients Acetaminophen 325mg + Oxycodone hydrochloride 5mg.

The primary noticable differences between these two pills are the different manufacturers they are made by, as well as each pill containing different inactive ingredients or fillers.

Inactive ingredients or fillers can effect how efficiently the drug is absorbed into your system and therefore determine how effective it might be over another similar pill with different inactive ingredients.

Inactive Ingredients in IP 203:
silicon dioxide
crospovidone
*magnesium stearate*
microcrystalline cellulose
povidone
corn starch
stearic acid

Inactive Ingredients in 512:
crospovidone
microcrystalline cellulose
povidone
corn starch
silicon dioxide
stearic acid
