How many hours apart should you take nitrofurantoin suspension - 4 hours?

It's for a 5 year old girl, for a urinary tract infection.

Taking it 4 times daily would be around 6 hours apart.

The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and diarrhea.

How is she doing? Has there been any change?
