40mg Lexapro Overdose

Hi there, I accidentally took 40mg of lexapro and am feeling very tired and sleepy. Is there anything I should do? Has anyone else done this and what were their side effects?

When you make such a mistake and are experiencing such symptoms, it is always better to contact your doctor, poison control or your nearest emergency services department. While there are those of us online that are always happy to help, there's nothing we can do if your life would be in danger.

The FDA lists the typical overdose symptoms as possibly including nausea, severe drowsiness, hypotension and shallow breathing.
