i live in brooklyn terminally ill and cannot fill my prescription of oxycodone 30mg I am sick with kidney failure .. can anyone help???

I am so sorry Jerry about your situation if you have cancer and it terminally the drs. should have no problem writing you meds cause you are at the stage 4 of cancer and help you with the pain for you.Have you asked you for help frim your dr.I am sure if you are at stage 4 they will helo you.I am so sorry for you just get into another pain center or your oncoligist should have no problem prescribing yoy meds to help with your pain so.ask your oncologist.I have cancer lung and breast cancer and in pain all the time so ask your dr.my husband died of lung cancer and his oncologist wrote anything he asked for and I am so glad cause he was in terrible pain so ask your dr and tell them they don't know how bad you hurt.I am so sorry you have termilal cancer or get on hospice they will help also.

The man is asking for logistical help not for sermons from the mount!
Jerry,I find that manhattan pharmacies will fill your script,especially if you find ones around the big hospitals,they are quite used to it and actually I have been told that comparatively oxy is quite low in what they deal with.
I hope this helps but even if it is not seen I am happy I did it maybe someone else can use it.boy was I angry at that stupid non answer.rick

Hi jerry,

My research suggests that someone who has kidney disease or kidney failure should only be taking Oxycodone under the care of a medical doctor. Have you considered other- less harsh- methods of pain relief? I imagine that if you are experiencing kidney failure you should seek emergency medical attention, and the doctors/surgeons may be able to provide you with alternatives that could help you-not hurt you. I am not a doctor, but I personally think that If one of your organs is failing, pumping more narcotics into your body won't help your case much. A nutritionist may be able to help you create a diet plan that may be able to help your body heal itself- have you ever considered that option? Please feel free to post back with anymore questions, I'll do my best to help!
