30mg Oxycodone R/215

Can these be cut in half? I don't want to do something that would hurt me. But I would prefer to start with half than a whole one

Did you mean the tablets with the A 215 marking?

They are manufactured by Actavis and they list them as being 30mg tablets in a regular release formulation.

Thus yes, they can be cut, if your doctor approves.

The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Yes they can be cut in half as long as they are IR. They should have a score line that shows where to break or cut with pill.

I think you may already have your answer but I know that if they are small blue pills like the other person said that has an A imprint or maybe even a k, I'm not sure, but importantly they're usually blue if they're 30mg. Anyway those are instant release meaning it wouldn't make much of a difference when taking a half of one. It won't hurt u and it should be equivalent to the half a dose, like 15mg. But if it's not an instant release then please let me know because I still think those ones with OP on the pill are an oxycontin, but a s***ty pill to be honest. Sorry I hate that they did that.

I agree with you but why say if her doctor approves or only if they approve. Really? If its that effing serious then she could simply call any pharmacy and ask if there's a risk in taking half of if what to expect as far length of duration or what have you but no she doesn't need to have it approved by her doctor that's just ridiculous if you're not a doctor or even if you are one then honestly you don't know how to think for yourself. Everything you said was something off the prescription info print out you get when you fill the script.
