3 Norco 10mg Too Many?

My mom took 3 norco without letting me know. I monitor her meds and give her one every 4 hours if needed. But she informed me that she took 3 of them without my knowledge and was scared what they might do. She is sleeping but very restless.

Yes, that might be too much for her. Did she suffer any adverse effects? That could result in overdose, if she's not opiate tolerant. Signs of overdose may include nausea, severe dizziness, extreme drowsiness and shallow breathing.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
