yellow and black oblong capsule, with a picture of something followed by 2407. It is supposed to be tetracyclene, but the bottle states that mylan 102 should be printed on each pill.

Based on the description provided, I can confirm your yellow and black capsule to be Tetracycline hydrochloride (500 mg).

It sounds like there was some sort of mix up at the pharmacy with the manufacturers. The marking Mylan 102 comes up as the same exact yellow and black capsule as 2407. The only difference I noticed is in the manufacturers of these pills. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients, but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage.
