22 Week Pregnant Not Monitoring Tyroids

My girlfriend is 30yrs old some 8yrs back diagnosed with hypertyriosm.We are 22 week pregnant and she take 0.1mg daily.What is the level of concern for baby being diagnosed with downsyndrome.Going to take bloodytest in 4 hours.Is there any steps to take to try and avoid baby being diagnosed
