200mg Twice A Day - Side Effect
UpdatedHi there. I've been taking 200mg Trimethoprim for 9 months once a day and was lucky enopugh to have no side effects. Recently my dosage has increased to one tablet twice a day, usally the morning and evening so that males 400mg? Since then I've been feeling dizzy. Is that a common side effect? My leaflet that came with the medication just talks about skin rashes....

Yes, you can pretty much count on the possibility of dizziness being a side effect of virtually any medication. It's just the nature of them, because you are basically adding a chemical to your body to fix a problem.

It should wear off after a few weeks pass and your body adjusts to the medication.
Has it improved any?
