176 White Oblong Pill Generic Lortab

I just got these this month. I had been taking the Watson 503. Which were 10/650's. These are 10/325. I've only been taking these for a couple of days and have taken the yellow Watson before. These are not as good. they are not as potent nor do they last as long. I was hoping that they would be more effective but they aren't. its not in my head. Watson by far makes the best generic Lortab.

Hello, Joshintn! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having.


With less Acetaminophen in them, it is only normal that you would notice a difference and find them to not be as effective. The Acetaminophen potentiates the action of the narcotic, so when there is more in them, it is more effective.

Lortab, however, is no longer available. All of these combination prescription products have been changed to include no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen, per dose.

Have you consulted your doctor? If your current dose is not handling your pain, please make sure that you let them know.
