15mg Phentermine

Hi iv been taking 15mg phentermine once a day for 9 days and have been on a 850 kals a day and walk 2 miles a day and I haven't lost anything should I ask my doctor 30mg or dose it take longer to work

Hi Molly,

In my honest opinion, 850 calories a day seems very low for any individual trying to exercise for weight loss. If you're not eating much, your metabolism can also put your body into "starvation mode" and begin to store and hold onto fats or what little bit you are eating, as an act of survival. If you really want to rev up your metabolism a bit more, I'd suggest eating smaller meals every 2-3 hours as a way of encouraging your body to keep burning food as fuel and not storing it.

As far as how long phentermine takes to work, it really varies from one person to another. Some people may begin to see results almost immediately, while others such as in your case, could end up losing a little over longer periods of time.

Weight management is a life long practice though, so you may have to keep tweaking things here and there till you find what works best for your individual needs.
