15mg Percocet Oxycodone

I have been on Percocet 10/650 for around 8 yrs. now for my back. They cannot do surgery because the bone and discs in my spine are not strong enough to hold any type of device. They have now changed it to Oxycodone 15 mg but doesn't seem to help. Is Oxycodone 15 stronger than the Percocet 10/650? I am NOT looking for drugs and the high that some give. My profession is very important to me and I would NEVER risk loosing it due to drugs, however, I am on my feet for at least 12 hrs. a day on concrete. I am just curious if the Oxy 15 is stronger and better to take or is there something better.

The problem may be caused by the lack of Acetaminophen, it generally enhances the effects of the Oxycodone and helps it work better.

Have you consulted your doctor?

If they still permit you to use Acetaminophen, you could trying taking it, with the Oxycodone, to see if it helps.

Otherwise, there is also a time released formulation of Oxycodone available, under the name brand Oxycontin, that might help you more.

i was on 10/325 for 5 years then 3 months ago went to 15mg oxycodone ,i'm going back to 10/325 percocet next month ,the 15mg is stronger but don't work as good as 10/325 .
