15 Mg Oxycodone Doctor

Hello, I live in Waldorf Maryland I was seeing a wonderful doctor until he passed away. I was getting 90 30mg pills until I changed it to 120 15mg. ( I know what your thinking but I didn't want to have to cut it in half when I needed less ). Because of all the crap associated with anyone taking an narcotic I'm having an extreme issue with finding another doctor. For years I saw this sweet old man and filled them in the office pharmacy I had no idea there was this much of a stigma about the pain drug and the people that take them. If anyone knows of a doctor that I could talk to that dose not give people the run around.

HI, Gail! Sorry about the problem that you're having.

Since you were seeing the same doctor for a very long time, you may not be aware of everything associated with taking such a medication and looking for it from a new doctor.

The biggest issue is that if you're calling new doctors and asking them if they'll prescribe it, before you've even become a patient, most will automatically tell you no, because that is viewed as being drug seeking behavior. You need to set up an appointment with a new doctor and make sure that they get a full copy of your recent medical records. Once they see what has and hasn't worked for you, as documented by a fellow physician, they will be more prone to prescribe accordingly.

And you should also be aware that in most cases, if you need such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, you'll most likely be referred to a pain management specialist. There are limits now on what a general practitioner can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it and how much of it they can prescribe.

Hi...first, get all of your medical records, all of your prescription records and take it with you to a doctor of your choosing. You can even try going to a pain clinic...if you are still suffering from what you were taking oxycodone for, there is no reason in the world why they wouldn't continue to provide it to you. I have been on hydrocodone for 3 years now, continuously provided by my surgeon...thankfully he is as young as I am, and I hope he will be around for a long time...I wish you the best.

Gail there is only one thing That's Causing Everyone So much trouble getting their pain medication it's The DEA, i live in Florida and it's so Bad Here You Can't Even Find A Pharmacy That Will Fill A Legal Prescribed Prescription. The DEA Is Treating the Pharmacies And Pharmacist Like The Drug Cartels, it's a epidemic Here people disabled living in chronic pain are suffering. My doctor said we all need to call and write every elected politicians even The white House. Because the DEA works for the DOJ. And they answer to Obama. I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. But it Will only get worse if we don't do Something
