15 Mg Morphine Vs Morphine Er
Updated1 Reply
Hello, Renee! How are you?
The ER designates that one as being time released, so the dose is slowly released over a period of 12 hours, the one without such a designator is a regular release pill, so the complete dose is released within about 15 to 20 minutes of taking it.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
