15 Days Delayed

Hi, my mentrual period delayed for 15 days already since i stop taking althea. The doctor prescribed 3 packs but i only finished the 2 packs to regulate my menstrual period. Is this the effect after taking the pills? Please advise.

Yes, that can happen, when you take oral contraceptives, then suddenly stop them. Other symptoms, as listed by the U.S. FDA, may possibly include headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.

It could take a few months for things to return to normal.

Why didn't you take the full 3 months?
