My name is Mary I have a UTI that is not so serious in pain. I have some amoxicillin that's was filled 6/7/16 and today is 6/28/16. Can I possibly take this antibiotic to get rid of the UTI or should I see a doctor? The medication has been kept in the refrigerator since it has been filled.

It would be best to see your doctor. Medications lose efficacy with time and liquids can actually turn bad, so it could make you sick, if you take it, once it is expired.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
