I have a vial of fentanyl 50 ml single dose vial. Is it still safe to inject?

It wouldn't be recommended if it expired back in 2007, not only has it lost some effectiveness by now, but it is also likely that some of the ingredients have started to settle out, which could create risks of blockages, if you try to use it.
