100mg Lorsartan

can losartan 100mg be cut in half ?? I was taking 50 mg then I was put on 100mg now back to 50mg I have some 100mg left can I cut this pill in half ??

Yes, since it's not time released, it is safe to cut them and use up your remaining supply. My doctor actually prescribes them that way, because it's cheaper for me to buy 15 tablets of the higher dose and just take half a tab.

The FDA classifies this medication as an ACE inhibitor and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.
