10/325 Hydro. How Much Is Too Much? (Top voted first)

Okay. So, just answer the question and no stupid answers please. Like oh no I hope you aren't thinking of doing anything or whatever. I am 120 lbs and have not taken any pain killers for over a year maybe 2. Would I still have a tolerance to it? Would taking 20 10/325 be too much?

Yes, that would be far too much.

If it's been over a year, you most likely have no tolerance left.

Additionally, taking 20 of them would result in an overdose of Acetaminophen, which risks toxicity to your liver and may possibly be fatal.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What dosage regimen has your doctor prescribed?

Are you asking if taking a total of 20mg's or 20 pills total? I'm confused here. I would try taking 1 10mg and if it hasn't helped within a 11/2 hours try taking a half of another one. But taking 20 pills at once is asking for death by od.

Once u have had a physical addiction to opiates u will always have what opiate addicts call the 3 Day Rule! If u have gotten rid of physical u always will have a tolerance. U can never take Opiates for more than 3 days in a row! If u do, u will again have physical addiction in ur life on the 4th. Do not fool urself!!! I was off all opiates for 10 yrs. After 10 yrs of physical dependence on opiates and Methadone and I thought ten yrs. Opiate free, I can take opiates and 1 day led to 3 and I said f*** it on the 5th day I tried to quite. I was sicker than a dog already strung out!! You will always have a tolerance that is exponential in so much after 3 days You Will Be Dope Sick!! I didn't believe that was possible but it was and now working to get off methadone! Your brain is trying to convince you its OK!! It's a lie!! Its a set up for disaster and don't forget the misery it entails!!

Sorry this is so late but it just appeared today in my mail. Like he said it's the aspirin that would kill you not the hydrocodone. I think once your tolerance is shot, its shot. As for oxycodone, I took two 7.5 mg of percocet for about two weeks and that was it, now 6 years later I can take 360 mg of oxycodone and nada, nothing......still works great for pain so thank God for that. I dont know if there is a tolerance reset.
