What Is The Best Adderall Ir
31 Topics FoundHello, I've been taking TEVA for the past 9 years since it's the only one that has had any benefit since CorePharma has been unavailable. Zydus doesn't work and Barr never worked. What's the most effective manufacturer these days and which retailers make it available? I've been taking 30mg IR generic Adderall. Thanks in advance. ## Yes I miss CorePharma, they were a great generic. Teva USED to be good but my most recent two fills have been Teva and this is ridiculously poor quality… I’ve fallen asleep multiple times during the day. There are also many bad reviews online for the last few months about Teva. It seems like a sudden dramatic drop for them. Sugar pill? What happened, Teva?!!!!.. Prior to this, I liked Lannett but now Walgreens doesn’t hav...
Just moved to santa ana orange county area. Seeking doctor who will prescribe me adderall ## Hello, Sunny! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist, so a psychiatrist would be required. The best thing to do might be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone that can help. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, nervousness, anorexia, weight loss and insomnia.
Hello. I've been taking Sandoz Adderall IR for about 5 months now, so far so good. I am taking around 10mg x2 a day and it doesn't last long enough, and when the crash comes I become very confused and bored. 1. Does Sandoz make Adderall XR? If so, is it any good compared to other brands or generics? 2. If not, what is the best generic for Adderall XR? ## Hello Tyler, Yes Sandoz has been making an XR version of their Adderall since mid 2017. Due to the ingredients being different in the XR, as well as other generics, I wouldn't be able to tell you which one would work best for you. It's also worth noting that since you would be switching to the XR the medication may not have as strong of an impact as it used to due to the lower dosages of active ingredients in your system...
I have been taking adderall for over 10 years now. Started with Sandoz, which I have found to work the best. All the pharmacies I have been to have moved to other brands (Barr, Teva). They are ok. Does anyone know of any pharmacies in the Richmond, Va area that still carry Sandoz 20mg IR? If not, any other brands that you have found that work similar to Sandoz and where I can find them? ## There is really no best one that anyone can recommend. Since we are all different, the Adderall generic from one manufacturer that works well for you, may not work as well for someone else, and vice-versa. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia. What types of issues are having with the alternat...
i have noticed the changes in all adderall..whether talking ir or xr, adderall brand names or other manufacturers (sandox ect) not at all the same effects ## Well. there can be some variations from one manufacturer to the other, in both the active and inactive ingredients. When you know which one works for you, you should keep track of who manufactured it and go back to the same pharmacy you got it from. Or, if they switch, call around to see if another has it or request that they order it in for you. What manufacturer have you found to work best? ## vern...i have found none to be satisfactory since the original adderall ir and the xr changed formulations. this is documented fact now, although kept quite undercover for a long time. some very persistant people uncovered the whole patent ...
Does taking 15mg adderall twice a day equal out to 30 IR the whole day or is it 15 mg due to spreading out during the day? ## It equals 30mg total for that 24 hour period. Kind of confused by your question. Whatever you have taken (total) over a 24 hour period is how much you've taken "a day". If your doctor prescribes 15mg twice a day then those doses should be separated by 4-6 hours. ## Hello A, So this might get a little confusing but I'll do my best to keep it as simple as possible. Drugs have something called a half life cycle which is the duration that it takes your body to metabolize half of the active ingredients in your blood stream. It is generally accepted that it takes 4-6 half cycles to completely remove all of the active ingredients. With this in mind we ca...
Yes. You can. I have read multiple sources saying you can, the first time I heard of it (and it is acclaimed to be one of best roa's after putting up the booty), I tried it. I did feel a noticeable difference as I usually break my 2 30 ir down to 4 15 ir to take throughout day for duration. The one 15 I subligualed felt very much like an oral 30, was a bit more clear also. It didn't last any longer though unfortunately, because that is what I am searching for, a way to make the IR last longer. I'm sure doc will make decisions next time I see him, but I just got this script a week ago. Can't start complaining already. ## Are you trying to say that you can safely take Adderall sublingually? While that may or may not be true, my understanding is that it's not necessaril...
Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand. ## Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. I also went from Sandoz to Teva, not by choice, and hated it. Then I tried Activis, and I'm happy with it. ## That's strange if it is discontinued but CVS just gave me Sandoz Adderall today 9/5/2017 , I had requested corepharma because previously they gave me Mylan brand, which was Bad. I did well on corepharma but the only generic they could get was Sandoz. ## It is possible that just that p...
I have been on generic IR adderall with my first being Teva. I could not take that at all! I tried the 10 mg and 20 mg's and it made me so nervous and jittery that I had to take a nerve pill and go to sleep. Then CVS gave me another generic version but I can't remember the name. It didn't make me nervous but it also didn't really give me any effects at all. So I just happened to find 20 mg Sandoz generic. Those were the best generic for me by far! But then the town I live in now only prescribe Teva. My husband had to go out of town to find the Sandoz and it's a pain to have to go to the pharmacies to see what brands they have because they can't/won't even tell you over the phone what manufacture brand they have. For the last month I have been going through a ...
I have a prescription for 20 mg Adderall IR and my generic options are Aurobindo, Teva or Sandoz. Which one of these would you recommend? I've read posts that say Aurobindo is the worst but seems to be the one most pharmacies are pushing (or stock) right now. My script is for 90 pills so I can try 20 mg a day or cut one in half and try 30mg/day to find what works best for me. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks. ## It may be a challenge tell you which one will work best for you, since we are all different. For example, I've always done well with Teva medications, but someone else may feel the same about the ones from Sandoz. I am also rather indifferent to the ones from Aurobindo, no results to brag about but also no complaints. Also, since the Hatch-Waxman act of 1984 was p...
I was taking brand name Adderall IR for about a year and found it to be very helpful. But since Teva/Barr/Duramed just changed the formula for brand name Adderall IR - and it's pretty awful - my pdoc switched me to Vyvanse. I'm wondering if maybe I should switch to Adderall XR instead (of Vyvanse)? Thanks for any and all replies. ## For anyone else that's looking for similar information, the best thing I can say is that it really depends on figuring out what works for you. Sometimes finding the right medication, once you've grown tolerant to one, or once something has changed about it, is just a matter of trial and error. Some people get lucky and the first thing they use works great for them and stays effective for years, but this doesn't happen for everyone. Thus, ...
So I have been taking 20 mg instant release Adderall for years and I cannot seem to find one that is consistently working for me. The pink ones I was recently taking seem to work great but now have almost completely quit working for me. Any suggestions as to which generic is the best? ## Unfortunately, Adderall is not a good medication as its effectiveness is affected by several things including the food we eat, the timing of food, stomach environment, our psychosocial state etc. Consider talking to your doctor about trying a different stimulant such as Vyvanse which may be a better option. ## Hey Tracy, I also have been taking 20mg Adderall IR twice daily for over 3 years. Before that, it was several years of 70mg Vyvanse. I started out with the Sandoz/Eon peach 401's as my first s...
I received my 1st prescription of Adderall just last week and I've lost them! I had a doctor's appointment today and he wrote me another script that I'm assuming is for next month. I didn't dare to tell doctor that I lost my meds. I live in Maine. Can I fill this new script at a different pharmacy without using my insurance this time? ## Hello IRD, I'll be transparent in telling you that it's in your best interest to come clean and tell your doctor what happened. If they discover that you are trying to get your next script filled already it could potentially cause you problems down the line as they might believe that since you didn't tell them anything and now you're trying to get another script filled it starts to look like you're trying to misuse th...
I hurt my back at work. Can I take my Vicodin with my Adderall? I forgot to ask my Dr and the pharmacy is closed right now. ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but it is always best to double check. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability. Are these the only medications you are currently taking? ## I took the combo for a few years & they actually work better in my opinion. I found that when I took the adderall without the Vicodin, I would feel more shaky & nervous, also my heart would beat faster. So I always took then together. The Vicodin can have a little bit of a calming effect, so it took the edge off the Adderall. & If you filled both meds at the same pharmacy, they wo...
I'm also new to Farmington and need to find a doctor to refill my adderall. Could someone please help me? Thank you !!!' ## Hello, Rhodes76! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis. PCPs can no longer prescribe them. The best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone. That would most likely be the fastest and easiest way to get the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This mediation carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, irritability and anorexia. ## This is not true! Any MD DO or even physician...
What pharmacy in San Diego carries either Sandoz 30mg Adderall IR or what company is comparative to Sandoz? I have read information on Shire and Teva being changed or another company having their pills changed so the effectiveness is way weaker. I would like to know all info I can gather about 30mg IR tablets in San Diego and what is the best brand typically.
Filed under AdderallI'm in agony! I can't keep taking adderall and methadone, it's starting to make me feel irritated. I hate having to be on something. I just want to feel normal again without relying on pills. I'm terrified of coming off of these pills. Please if you or anyone has any advice or help for making it easier, anything I'd be very grateful. ## Hello, Nicole! How are you? What doses are you taking and how often? Both of these medications are listed by the FDA as having the possibility of being habit forming, which means that too rapid of a withdrawal could cause some miserable withdrawal effects, such as nausea, fever/chills, diarrhea, rebound pain, insomnia and irritability. Thus, a slow taper would be best. Have you spoken to your doctor about getting off of them? Having m...
I need to find a Doctor in Lima Ohio because I cant keep driving back home to get it from my Doctor in Michigan. I'm spending too much on gas. ## Hello, Dale! How are you? Yes, I understand, gas has gotten very expensive. Due to the regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. A regular PCP won't be able to prescribe it for you. The best thing to do would most likely be to set yourself up with a new PCP in your current location, make sure they get a full copy of your current medical records, then have them refer you to someone. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and insomnia. Can an...
Tomorrow I should be filling a script for 30 mg Adderall IR tablets, but I am nervous about getting stuck with a subpar generic. What are the current generic manufacturers as of this month? My only option with my insurance is to fill at Rite Aid or CVS - which generic do they commonly carry? I appreciate your help! ## Spoke with corepharma this morning. They no longer manufacture amphetamine salts. Limited to Sandoz, barr/teva, and a few others now. I was just switched to Aurobindo. IT IS AWFUL. It feels narcotic, makes my add worse, and is inconsistent at best in strength. ## The worst are corepharma's bright pink round pills. CVS buys them at the cheapest rate. Mylan aren't bad with their peach round MA20, but most swear by Sandoz and Barr/teva. ## Being that we all react/resp...
I'm taking 20mg of ADDERALL IR a day, while I love the way my brain reacts, my body is a whole different story! I feel like I have a tight suit of armor on under my skin! My shoulders are drawn up high. Every muscle in my body is rigid, it's making my movements weird. My stomach muscles are so tight I have very painful trapped gas. Yoga is the only thing that kind of helps. Anyone else ever experienced this? ## While there are side effects of Adderall that may explain these symptoms, according to FDA reports, such as gastrointestinal upset, anxiety, tension, nervousness, and etc., it is best to consult your doctor to make sure that's all that is going on. How long have you been taking Adderall? Ref: Medline Plus Adderall Are you on any other medications? ## Is it made by Aur...
