Is this also good for pain relief for neck pain. ## As far as small pains like neck pain from an accident. This drug is so not the best out of all the pain management type of things. They all have side effects that are some what simular and I know of only one person that I know that can take this drug without problems. For small things related to accidents, go with something else. I had all the side effects, my emoitions were off the chart, I lost my job within 3 days of taking this because I sat at my desk and cried for an hour after just one pill. when taking medication & the directions are 1 tablet 3 times a day, how many hour's are between each tablet ## Hi Katt, When the directions state "1 tablet, 3 times daily", I think most people base the "3 times daily" off of a 24 hour period, where as you can simply divide 24 by 3 times and have "1 tablet, every 8 hours". Some people might not wait 8 hours and may just take it 3 times spread out during the day and not have any at night. I personally would go with the "every 8 hours" deal, because I find it easier to track. I found this great Pain Specialist who actually helps people with legitimate problems that have found that they are only helped with Narcotics. This Doctor does not treat you like a drug fiend and actually believes you when you tell the truth. He then prescribes a reasonable amount of narcotics to help make your life better. Once you have proved you are honest you don't have to take a drug panel every month either and he writes a 3 month supply just like with heart medication. Sound Like a dream? What is the difference between roxicodone and oxycodone ? ## From what I understand, Roxicodone and Oxycodone are both the exact same medication. The only difference you might find would probably be in the list of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers) that different manufacturers use in their tablets. I think the real confusion sets in when people start discussing Percocet (which is sometimes partially labeled as Oxycodone). However, it also contains Acetaminophen; the differentiating factor between those two meds.
