What is the proper name for a square peach colored pill with a 54 imprint on one side and an x on the other side? Our dog was just fixed. My daughter picked her up. The pill is square and brown. R is on one side and 100 mg is on the other. I have an alleged 8mg hydromorphone tablet that has 54 on one side with 425 under that and scored on the other side. ## Indeed, what you have there is a relatively expensive 8mg instant release hydromorphone hydrochloride, made in US, forgive me but I have forgotten the maker. Not Abbott Dilaudid brand, which are sorta rounded triangular shape with Abbott logo obverse and large '8' reverse. As are the most excellent ones by Covidien, under their Mallinckrodt label, only difference being the logo, a capital M in a square. My pharmacy said they were running out of generic roxy's 30mg an they will fill the rest with brand. 1 pill is marked (a 215) the other ( 54. 199). I long wondered if there the difference between brand a generic an how much of a difference was it. I,m an older man 54 who,s had addiction problems since teens. Did lot of drugs when younger. Stopped on my own for about 5yrs. About 10 yrs. ago had health problem and Dr. prescribes lortab.
