What is the period of treatment of epilepsy? Is it curable? Please provide the side effects of epilex chrono-200 and also remedies. ## my daughter developed momentary seizures when she was 11 yrs. old and that time she was in class V. The seizure came while playing with kids. So we took it lightly may be due head reeling or so. Few years passed and in the year 2007 while in sleep in the mid-night the seizure triggered. We got panic. We were dumbfounded. The next day I took her to the Neurologist and he confirmed that it is epilepsy. The doctor prescribed EPILEX CHRONO-200 1x3times daily and Folvite 1 Tab in the night. Since 2007 she is continuing the drugs. At her Class-X (2010) during here annual exam. she discontinued her medication for quite long time (about 3/4 months) and it trigge...

I'm 37 yrs old and am an epileptic patient. I got pregnant now and I'm taking roiled chrono 200 twice daily. Will it have any side effect(s) on my child? ## As earlier I discussed u about the side effect of epilex chrono on my pregnancy. As per Doctors advice Epilex chrono 500 should be taken life long so that i am taking it with Mazotol 200 since 15 years is there any side effect? ## All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, the ones listed by the NIH for this one may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight gain. Do you have a seizure disorder? Are you on any other medications?

I am patient from last 15 years it started when I am just 11 today I am 27 i receive seizure only once then i know i am patient of epilepsy but after stated tablet i have not receive again. But when my second baby born after 3-4 months I was faint for 2-3 times in a day and its just for 10-15 seconds doctor says they are seizures then they prescribed me twice daily. I have 2 children is this possible that it's transfer from me to my children or I am tyroid patient too so I want to know both tablets (tyroid 1 tablet & epilex chrono 200 twice a day) are giving wrong effect on me I am too weighted, always feel so much tired,my memory is fade please suggest me

I was on epilex chrono 500 mg twice when the medication was reduced and stopped. This happened twice during a period of 6 years (break after 3 years). But every time the hand tremor reoccured. Presently I am on levesam 500 mg thrice since Feb 2009. Its been 3 years and I dont think that the doctor wants to reduce the medication or intend on stopping it. Are there any side effects that I may face if I continue this medication?
