Prednisone False Positive Drug Test

Is there any other drug that could cause a false positive for prednisone in a urine sample? are there any skin care products which could also? I have never taken predisone and it came up positiove in my drug test and i have no explanation as to how thanks in advance ## can prednisone give a postive drug test for thc ## As long as you have your prescription paperwork you wont get sanctioned.

I attend a methadone clinic and twice in a row now I have tested positive for opiates when I haven't done any. I've taken some prescription drugs and through some research I've concluded that it was the prednisone that caused it. The good thing is my counselor is going to advocate for me to get my urine retested for free instead of having to pay the $45. So hopefully this may help someone because they also found false positives for other drugs from ppl taking prednisone. ## How can I prove this to my counselor? Will I fail a urine test because of prednisone 20 mg and 400 mg Acyclovir? The er said I have Bell's palsy. I got to take one in two days from now for probation. ive been taking prednisone steroids for allergic reactions for a month now. can that show up as a false positive for cocaine? ## Can i have a dirty urine drop for prednisone 10 mg and cyclobenzaprine? ## No, but kidney disease/infection or liver problems can give a false positive for cocaine. ## I had a cortisone shot and a flu shot & I came up positive for cocaine. I tested positive for tramadol. I don't take tramadol. I take suboxone, trazodone, cymbalta, lyrica, Wellbutrin, prednisone, & singulaire. I am going to be tested, but am not sure which test I will be required to take. can u tell me what the test will show if I take flexril, tramadol, prednisone, and nyquil ## As far as I know, prednisone shouldn't show up at all, and neither should the other things but each of the other is a possibility. Tramadol isn't necessarily an opiate but it works with the opiate receptors and can cause a false positive. Flexeril is a skeletal muscle relaxant and also isn't tested for on any ua as far as I've ever heard, but it has been known to cause false positives for benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, Ativan, etc.). And also NyQuil contains alcohol I believe and if your test includes alcohol as a panel it can show up depending on how far apart your last use was from your test and ot...

I take ms contin. And immediate release morphine, soma, and xanax, prednisone, gabapentin. 10 years of never failing a drug test and have failed two in two months. First positive for hydrocodone, haven't taken it in years, next month for tramadol, which I had never even heard of. I'm starting to get worried, not only of losing my pain clinic, but that something may be wrong with my liver, kidneys or pancreas. As I am also a diabetic. Hard to be called a liar at 63 years old.

I had a blood test and tested positive for methodone but never touched the stuff. Please inform me why this would happen because there is alot in jeopardy with this false reading. I do take medication for arthritis (tramadol, hydrocodone, prednisone) asthma (ventolin inhaler) and high blood pressure (lisinopril). Hi can anyone help? I got a positive drug test for 40 micro-grams of MDMA (Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) and 400 micrograms of methamphetamine. Someone suggested this may be due to my asthma inhaler and depression? Could this be true or have i been spiked? My urine was positive for thc and I don't smoke but I do take naproxen prescribed from the doctor. Is that the reason why my urine test is positive ## I'm going thru the same thing, also took ibuprophen 800mg. I was also prescribed meloxicam for neck pain and that also can trigger a false positive. ## I take Prednisone and Naproxen, I take at least 3 drug tests per week... I just took a drug test and i tested positive for cocaine and i have never used cocaine but i have been sick and been taking doxycycline hyclate and prednisone. ## I recently tested positive for cocaine on a urine test and have never used it. I have taken doxycycline 100 mg, cephalexin 500 mg and used a topical cream for shoulder pain. Would this produce a false positive?

i recently tested positive for anfedimines, the only thing i have taken is metoprolol, flovent, prednisone would one of these make the test positive. ## None of the medications you listed are known to cause false positives for anything. Did you take anything else, even over the counter products?
