I have a problem with blockage in my ear. It started last week when I had the flu. My flu is sorted out now, but my left ear is still blocked. May i take it for a UTI? It expired 2014. ## Unless a specific bacteria is detected that can be treated by this medication, it is not usually the preferred on to treat a UTI. The one normally used most often is Nitrofurantoin, so it would be best to see your doctor and let them prescribe an appropriate antibiotic. Did you doctor offer you any alternative, now that these are no longer available? You can still get pills with Hydrocodone in them, but the Acetaminophen is only 325mgs. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There's really no way to know what other medication may work well for you. What others have you tried? ## The doctors are COWARDS. They have forgotten their oath to "do no harm". They make me sick.
