Pills marked with PZ (followed by a set of numbers) are commonly identified as Simethicone in varying dosages. Simethicone is used to alleviate bloating, gas, & stomach discomfort. If so, Purdue Pharma lists it as being a 40mg Oxycontin tablet, which is no longer manufactured. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, headache, and dry mouth. They changed their formulation a few years ago, and now use the OP marking, they have also made them more abuse proof.

Hi there I have recently found a container of orange brown round tablets not very big and only markings are 50 on one side. Any ideas? ## it seems to be trazadone. A low dose anti-depressant sometimes used for sleep. Im not 100% positive but if its orangeish brown im pretty sure.

This pill is also noted to be round and yellow as opposed to orange, but it is the only thing that comes close in reference to your description. Odds are that it could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases.
