Dear sir ' my age is 48 year ,i have lower calf stiffness problem,doctor prescribed joincerin m (diacerein,glucosamine and msm) for helping cartilage regenerate,but after taking 5 tablets I have pain in both knees upper thighs, hands.I have stopped taking dose..please help me if is this side effect then how long it will..one month pass but still pain..

I am taking this tablet twice a day as prescribed by my physician for last two months for having faced Slip Disc at L3-L4 and a mild annular tear at L4-L5. I am told to continue with the same medicine along with pain killers for much more longer period. But I couldn't find any ease till now with this tablet. Is it effective only after a longer period?. Are there any known side effects for this medicine? Also, for what purpose is it prescribed? ## The Diacerein in this is used to treat pain and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis. The other ingredients Potassium, MSM and Glucosamine are supplements that are believed to help with joint health and mobility. As to the side effects, I don't have any information on that, since the Diacerein is the only drug ingredient and it isn't approved and used in the U.S. The only one that I know having been reported from it is diarrhea.

I am taking this tablet from last 22 days for the treatment of my knee joint pain. From last 4-5 days I am feeling back pain.Is it due to this tablet or due to some other reasons? side effects , is it this combination useful ? ## The Glucosamine and MSM are supplements that are claimed to help with joint pain and flexibility. Diacerein is used to treat Osteoarthritis. It is not proven to actually help, but many people say it does. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I take glucosiamine with MSM, is this any different than glucosaiine with chondroitin ? I am adviced by my ortho to take orcerin gm for 2 yrs for my osteoarthritis. Is it safe? I am already overweight. Will it make me gain more weight? Are there any side effects?
