Been on 875 mg for 10 days. Still have symptoms. Can I continue to take another Amox-Clav with lower mg? No sense in buying more. How long can I take the other prescription? ## Hello, Judy! I have never taking any medications in my life. I have what the doctor calls a sinusitis infection and my blood pressure read yesterday 180/120?? I have been on this for 9 days so far, total of 14 days needed, for a bad sinus infection. Today I wake up with a sore jaw, at the hinge right below my ear. Ive never had jaw problems. Twice in the last year I have been prescribed this for a sinus infection. Unfortunately both times i vomited several times a day. Both times doctors called in a different rx.
