I've just been prescribed 5 mg Amlopidine daily for high blood pressure. How quickly will it work, as my BP has been averaging 166/118 for several weeks and I'm keen to see it come back to a more reasonable level. My pulse is also fast at 110 bpm. ## You should start to see a gradual improvement within a few days of starting it, but it may take 3 to 4 weeks for it reach its full level of efficacy in the body to see how much it will help you. Can I stop Amlodipine while I also take Metoprolol and Lisinopril? The Amlodipine makes me feel cold and shivering quite often. Is it okay to take amlopidine for my high blood pressure along with Doxycycline? Hi. I have been on 4 mg of Candesartan for 2 weeks. I had to stop Amlopidine because of shortness of breath. I have had palpitations and now look like I am 6 months pregnant and feel bloated. Picked up prescription at pharmacy with these numbers on blue round pill. Is supposed to be metoprolol but any info I find on computer says amlopidine. ## C75 is Amlodipine 5 mg and Olmesartan 40 mg, which is used to treat high blood pressure. Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## It is also being reported that the light blue pill with C 75 is Meoprolol. There's been a lot of confusion lately with manufacturers discontinuing certain products, releasing new versions, etc. So if anybody knows the specific manufacturer of this pill it would be easier to verify it with them.

Round blue pill w/C75 imprint. Supposed to be metroprolol from India according to label on bottle @ Walmart. Ckg on computer it says is amlopidine. Not real confident on this.
