Can I take one 500mg Tylenol #3 with 30mg of Morphine? I have a temp. of 100.6. and I have finished with Chemo 6 weeks ago, from a Prostate Cancer that spread to my bones.

I am taking a slow release morphine (30 mg twice a day) and can take something in between times to help with the awful pain. Could that be Tylenol 3?

yes.....Verwon....are there any OTC's that would mimic a false positive for narcotic analgesic on a 5 point drug test? Or for that matter any foods, herbs or anything else. My friend takes quite a few iburprofens for arthirtis along with antihistimines for bad a sinus problem.

As to combining Morphine with Tylenol/Acetaminophen, it really depends on your medical condition and any other medications involved.

If you aren't taking anything else, it should not be a problem, but compared to Morphine, Acetaminophen is not going to provide much pain relief in comparison.

Morphine is a very potent narcotic analgesic.

Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

As to the drug test, your friend should make sure to inform the testers of all medications he is taking, when the test is administered, including over the counter items.

They will know what may possibly negate the test, out of what he is taking.

What OTC drugs combine to produce a false positive on a drug test. I have a friend that tested positive for morphine? or what other drug would show up as morphine. He doesn't take anything that we can think of.
