I have had problems before with my health and now I am back to square one again.
I am currently on metoprolol, spirnolactone, trazadon, citalpram and medrxyprgst. I was doing fine up till a few days ago I started having a pulse rate of 113, accompany by feeling week, tired, off balance and hot,I don't know if it is the medrxyprgst or what but I don't like the feeling of my heart beating hard in my chest.
Walking up the stairs in my home makes my heart pound through my chest, I don't know how like I can take this before I go insane, so will someone please review the medications I'm on and give me any information that can help me to figure out why I am feeling this way. Thank you! - Filed in Metoprolol

How long do that palpitations usually last? They aren't usually anything to worry about, unless they last for a long time.

According to the FDA, palpitations can be caused by both the Metoprol, and the Spironolactone. Other side effects may include increased urination, hypotension, and dehydration. Additionally, dehydration could also cause palpitations.

What activities were you engaging in, before you discovered that high of a pulse rate? It is normal for your pulse rate to go up, after certain activities that result in a cardiovascular workout.
