I have been taking one,5-500mg of hydrocodone daily for a few years. My urine test came back negative, and now my Dr. doesn't believe I'm taking them! They are the only thing that takes the edge off my awful undiagnosed, headaches. Please, any info will help.Thanx! - Filed in Hydrocodone

This is happening to me right now! Been on 5/325 for sometime now, had two urine tests and both coming up negative. Now, my Doctor won't see me! This is so frustrating, I am very honest and upfront with him.

I have had this happen to me before, except with a job urine test. I was taking 6 pills per day and I informed the employer I was taking the ua test for that it would be in my system and showed them the prescription. For some reason, it didn't show up. I had been taking them for years as prescribed. I was shocked that the test came back negative and still have never gotten a straight answer as to why that happened

I had been taking the same meds for years and my test came back negative too. I told my doctor that I would come down everyday for one week and take them infront of him and then they could do a new test. After one week of doing that they did another test and it was negative. They continued to give me my meds and told me that there are some people that can take them and it will not show up in your urine. I would check with your doctor and see if they would be willing to do that for you.

Have you discussed the issue with your doctor?

There are several things that could cause this, such as the use of an unreliable non-certified test, as well as your own individual metabolism, your activity levels, fluid intake and etc.

Taking that small of an amount, once daily, would mean that the detectable amount in your urine is very low and not all tests would detect it.

https://rxchat.com/wiki/Vicodin/
