I lost my job in the oil and gas industry about a month ago and money has been very tight...a so-called friend of mine offered to pay for my adderall and pick them up from the pharmacy for me if I gave her a few of my pills in return....normally I would not have considered this, but as I mentioned before money was tight, in fact this was the only way I would be getting my adhd meds for that month...I can get by without them, but im just one of those people who constantly chase their tail without them....To make a long story short she decided to keep the entire script, I have tried to meet up with her several times but she ignores me and has excuses like I have never heard, I even came up with the money and tried to buy my own damn script back.....finally a month went by and I told her I would call the police if she didnt have them by today....she got furious and said she was just going to throw them away, but I'm sure probably took them...she then said she will get them to me when she could. ...all of this is on txt messages....I want to call the police but i'm concerned that I will get in trouble as well...though I actually never did anything wrong because I never did get the pills in the first place....she actually had to give her id when she picked them up; so I have proof she took them.....is there any advice out there? - Filed in Adderall

Simple answer...my opinion is that you did do something wrong. You should never let the script leave your hands and never let your pills leave your possession. You said it is illegal so you know that. Now you need to learn that a huge percentage of people who are addicted to any substance can't be trusted. The high comes first and soon it becomes everything to the addict. You recent experience needs to be just that. An experience. Please learn from it.
