Wymox (amoxicillin) is semisynthetic penicillin, an analog of ampicillin, with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Chemically, it is d-(-)-a-amino-p-hydroxybenzyl penicillin trihydrate. Has anyone else here tried this antibiotic? ## Wymox is a moderate-spectrum antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-positive, and a limited range of Gram-negative organisms.
