Ladies, please do not take this awful pill!! I would never take Tri-Lo-Sprintec (TLS) pill again!! Ever! As happened to many of you, one day showing up at the pharmacy I found out that my insurance would not cover OTC-Lo (which I have been taking for 5 years) and that I'd have to pay $75 instead of previously paying $0. The pharmacist assured me that the generic TLS is EXACTLY THE SAME as OTC-Lo. Stupid me, I didn't do my homework research and started taking TLS the next week. Almost right away, I started spotting. From day to day, I would experience sharp and dull pain in my lower stomach which I had never experienced on OTC-Lo; at first, I didnt even link it to the new pill. I also started experiencing bad mood swings. I had some on OTC-Lo before but now they became much worse...

Hello. I am taking the birth control tri lo sprintec. This is my first month of the generic version. I got my period the third row of my packet, which are the dark blue pills. Yesterday I took the last dark blue pill in the row and my period is finally almost gone. Just a little bit of brown spotting. Today I took my first white pill from the bottom last row. Will I get my period again even thought I just had a full 7 days of it? ## Hello, Niki! How are you? Yes, you most likely will, that can happen, when taking oral contraceptives. If it continues, then you may want to speak to your doctor about trying a different one. The FDA lists other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?

i havent seen my boyfriend for months and he is coming home the week i go on my sugar pills (next week) i heard that if u skip the white pills and go right to the next pack you wont get your period? is that true? and is it safe? please help :( ## If no one has answered this question for you yet, allow me. I have taken OTC-lo in 4 pack doses getting my period every 3 months, instead of every month for the past 7 years. I started with the Depo Shot, but it made my hair fall out, so my Dr. suggested doing OTC-lo this way. It's been wonderful. I have regular periods every 3 months, less cramping, less moody, and so much more convenient. A little research will show you that OTC-lo actually is NOT a steady dose of hormones; it is Triphasic which means 3 weeks of varied doese. If I recall ...
