i do not no what it was prescribed for was given to me by my doctor ## I'm pretty sure that Simetyl is prescribed as a gastro-intestinal medication. Manufactured by Kramer Novis, active ingedients are Atropine, Scopolamine, Hyoscyamine. Beyond this there is not much other info available that I saw online. Hope this helps.
