I had been taking clonazapam-up to 3mgs. per day as needed for a long time when my psyche nurse put me on Serevent. After several days I started to get chest pain in my sternum, above the solar plexus.. My psyche nurse, who had been practising over 20 yrs. said she never heard of this before, said: Maybe something is seriously wrong with you I was sure it was related to the Serevent because when I cut down, the pain would subside; and when I took more, the pain increased. I later realized the cause: When taking the Serevent, I felt less need for the Klonopin and so would take less. I was actually feeling the physical effects of anxiety/depression: which affects me as heaviness and aching in that area while not feeling it mentally; apparently blocked by the Serevent.
