Has anyone undergone Propofol Sedation for a medical procedure while on Oxycodone? I take prescribed Oxycodone daily, and am concerned about upcoming colonoscopy which will require Propofol sedation. If I don’t take oxy during 12 hr fast I will be in withdrawal before the procedure, but I’m concerned about interaction if I do take it. Has anyone gone thru this? ## You’re fine. They do this all the time for many different kinds of procedures and people on many different kinds of opioids. I take Norco and they tell me I can take it in the morning that I have the procedure.
