From 2014 until 2023 I took Actemra monthly infusion for RA. During that time, I averaged one skin cancer per year (no melanomas). After hospitalization for RA in late 2023 I was switched to Simponi. In each of the following two years I got four large squamous skin cancers each year. I stopped all RA meds mid 2025. While I have not had any crises, my pain level has gone back to pre-infusion years. If I was to start Orencia, can you tell me what percent are in-office infusion versus home injection or other methods? Thank you, Dave

Can Orencia possibly cause chest pain and shortness of breath? ## It sounds like you may be having an allergic reaction to this drug or COPD: "Allergic reactions can happen on the day of treatment or the day after receiving ORENCIA. Tell your doctor or get emergency medical help right away if you have hives, swollen face, eyelids, lips, tongue, throat or trouble breathing." [1] I would suggest letting your doctor know ASAP.
